Big Hair

I got the privilege of stitching up the model piece for Coley, owner of Twin Stitchers. Coley's inspiration for this piece was a 1950's barber shop. While stitching I could totally feel the 1950's barber shop, it made me want to watch "Hairspray”.

I love embroidery so much because you can see the whole piece coming together so fast. When stitching the face on the hairspray bottle I decided to name her. I would like to introduce you to Fancy Francie.

Stitches used in this pattern are: French knot, Stem Stitch, and Back Stitch.
