Cornelia studied fashion design and arts in Munich and received her diploma
in 1981. She worked as an embroidery designer in St. Gallen, Swizerland for the
Jakob Schläpfer company. After deciding that she wanted to learn more about
the technical aspects of embroidery she went to Milano, Italy to learn punching
(now called digitizing). In 1985, she accepted an offer from the Pfaff Company
in Kaiserslautern. Over a period of eight years she was responsible for embroidery
design, punching techniques, software development, training of customers and
the presentation of the company's own industrial digitizing and embroidery systems
at international trade-shows. In 1994, she started her own business as a designer
and custom-digitizer. Her specialty is lace designing and digitizing.
