How does PAL2 differ from PAL?

PAL is portable lightweight, short. It works well for smaller hoops like 4x4 and 5x7.

PAL2 is larger, and clamps to your table  or cabinet so that it's always where you are working.  It is much taller than PAL and therefore has a longer beam which works for larger areas and hoops.
