That's correct, there isn't a compatible Snap Hoop to the Designer SE. If you want to check with DIME to see if they're planning to make a Snap Hoop compatible to this machine then you can contact them at [email protected]. Have a good day!
how much are the upgraded embroidery programs? I have the 3D program and am wondering how much it would cost to upgrade.
Are you asking about the 3D software itself or the Simply Teach Me Series? I'm sorry but we are discontinuing carrying the Simply Teach me series at this time. Regarding the 3D software itself, we do not carry that software so I do not have information on its pricing. I'd recommend checking with a Husqvarna/Viking dealer for pricing information.

The first thing I would check is the contrast for the screen, and to push the embroidery unit firmly into the main machine. If it's more than that, contact Husqvarna. www.husqvarnaviking.com
I have a chance to buy a used Designer SE. I'm wondering how many hoop sizes will it take? I already have a Designer Topaz 50
Hi, Pat. I'm not sure if it's the same with all Designer SE machines, but the version I see listed on sites like SewingMachinesPlus lists three included hoops:

I was not able to use the Monster SnapHoop with my Designer SE. Has anyone successfully used the Monster. The throat plate is not big enough. Any help/comments appreciated.
Hi, Donna. I checked with Designs in Machine Embroidery and our rep says that the Monster Snap Hoop is not recommended for use with the Designer SE. She recommends contacting the company you ordered your hoop from and requesting a return.
