I have the Dream Machine 2, you show a flat shank, mine takes a high shank. Are they the same?
Hi Janice, thanks for writing. I believe High Shank describes your machine's foot. The needles are either flat shank (flat on one side) or round shank (completely round). If you any needles at the moment, check to see if they are completely round or have one flat side and you will know which one you need. Please let me know if you have further questions.

If you could only but one hoop, what is the most useful size to get? Thanks for the help.
Hi, Theresa. It would depend your needs. Do you or do you expect to do a lot of large (jacket back or other) sized projects? Or are you mostly doing or wanting to do small projects such as onesies and baby stockings? If the former, the largest 8x12 hoop would make the most sense. If the latter, the 4x4 hoop should be sufficient. Otherwise, I might split the difference and go for the 5"x7" hoop, as it is a good medium sized hoop.
