Yes, this program will allow you to do that, though it will be one-at-a-time. Please let us know if you need to do multiple conversions at once and we can recommend a different software to you.

Embrilliance Essentials and Embrilliance Density Repair Kit do give you stabilizer suggestions for your chosen fabric type in the patented Project Advisor Tool in the Utility menu. It does not allow you to create your own fabrics for this purpose, but you choose from a dropdown list of 23 choices.

What kind of fabric creation would you like to do? Embrilliance Essentials lets you select an applique fabric color, and Stitch Artist will let you select a scanned image of a fabric. If you are wanting to create your own fabric prints, I suggest My Fabric Designer software.

To my knowledge, Embrilliance products do not automatically adjust your designs for undlerlay, pull compensation and density. They do give you the tools to do that on you own, depending on the product (i.e. Embrilliance StitchArtist allows you to adjust density, pull compensation, and underlay for any object that you create; Embrilliance Density Repair Kit allows you to adjust density on any design. I haven't used that, and don't have detailed knowledge of how it works; Embrilliance products all allow you to change the density and underlay of any fonts that were included in the product -- Essentials for example includes more than 10 fonts you could adjust).

Just select whether you want to download for Windows or Mac, and whether you like to download it in zip or exe format. One downloaded, install (if you downloaded the zip, extract that first).
Then you can enter your serial number and be ready to use the program.

The same link is also what you will use when you want to install the free updates.

Yes, you can convert from PCS to JEF format in Embrilliance Essentials, Sandra. Otherwise, benefits include awesome lettering capability as well as the following:

• Merge embroidery designs in almost any format, even while they are in .ZIPs.
• Resize, with stitch recalculation.
• Colorize.
• Convert Thread Brands on your designs.
• Add lettering in Multi-Line, Monogram and Circle modes. You can even spiral text or make really LARGE letters.
• Save in your machine's format.
• Save working files so that you can edit text later.
• Overlap designs and have significant understitching removed.
• Run a simulator to show how your designs will sew out.
• Group/ Ungroup
• Change or remove individual colors in a design.
• And have many chances to Undo you work.
• Also, there are special designs called Interactive designs that can be used, and some even come with the program. These designs calculate their stitches as you play with them for super results!

Hi, Nicole. If you are talking about .EMB format, that is a proprietary format offered by the embroidery company Wilcom, so a file MUST be created or saved from Wilcom digitizing software to have that format.

If I've misunderstood and you used "EMB" as shorthand to mean "embroidery" format, that is dependent on which embroidery format you need. If that is the case, let me know which embroidery machine you have.
