I have an Epic 2 and it is working beautifully. Yes. I like it!
will this work on the Epic2 I edge to edge quilting and like the 300 x 20
Hi Susan,
I believe we talked on the phone as well. But hopefully the manufacturer of the hoops, DIME, was able to help you with answering this question. Have a great day!
Yes, I bought mine in 2017. I loved it. However, my first one was a lemon, and I had to fight with Husqvarna for a replacement. Just as fluke. It kept going off right in the middle of my embroidery. When I mentioned the Lemon Law, they replace it that afternoon. My new one works like a dream! I have different size hoops that I use a lot!
Does anyone know what parts are compatible with the Husqvarna Viking Designer Epic? I'm trying to figure out if I can use an embroidery arm from a Designer II on a Epic. They look almost identical so I was just curious if anyone knew for sure. Thanks.
I'm not so sure that you can do this. Do you not have an arm for your Designer ll? Or your Epic?
I'm sorry but I don't know, Topher. I'd recommend checking with Husqvarna/Viking our a Husqvarna/Viking dealer to be sure:

I have been using the L bobbin. What is the difference between A and the L?
Hi, Linda. Thanks for the question. In general, the Type A and L have the same diameter but have different widths. The Type A is approximately 11.7mm wide and the Type L is approximately 8.9mm wide. I hope that helps clarify. Please let us now if you need any further questions.

Just purchased an Epic. Can I use embrilliance software with it?
Luba I'm going to an Applique Getaway in TX, and the lady who sells is going to be there to demonstrate.
Hi, Luba. Thanks for the question. Yes, we would recommend the Embrilliance software for you.

I love the automatic needle threader and the large space under the head around the needle. I have limited use of my arms and fingers and I haven't found anything I can't do. I can change needles and clip jump stitches with ease. This is my 4th Husqvarna and they all have been a dream to sew on but this one makes my heart the happiest.
I absolutely love the epic. It is the third embroidery machine by Viking that I have owned. The cost is worth the quality of the machines.

I bought the first computerized sewing machine in 1981 and it still works, a 6690. I put over $15,000 through it. I was a seamstress from home. I made all the designs for Hancock Fabrics too! I just bought a Pacesetter PS500 to play with by brother and love it too!
That's great to hear, Charlotte. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, I do and I love it! I have a Ruby, but wanted a slightly larger embroidery area, and space for quilting. I was not quilting when I purchased my Ruby. I love my Ruby as well. I kept my Ruby, so I can either embroider smaller things while using my Epic, or I can have it set up as a regular sewing machine while I am embroidering. Very, very easy to use, and the stitches are beautiful

You can use any usb, the big touch screen, the size of the hoop 360x260 is my favorite hoop.
Thanks, Doris! That's great information for anyone looking.
