FSL Christmas Robin

This winter scene in the hoop pattern with Robin, winter tree, snowflakes bell and candle lights can be perfect as a Christmas tree ornament, window suncatcher, door ornament, in a greeting card, and other winter season decor projects, or bring back memories of wintertime lands in other seasons! The Robin is one of three British birds which have red in their plumage and have an association with resurrection. The Robin was depicted on Christmas cards in 19th century England; a tradition that has been retained to this day.

Lace Instructions:

For stitching FSL designs you, need will need water-soluble stabilizer. (I've found the ones that look like fabric to be the best, not the transparent/film style stabilizers). For best results, use 2 layers of stabilizer and hoop them very tight.

Stitch it as a regular design. If lace is to be seen from both sides, use matching bobbin thread. After stitching, remove embroidery from hoop. Cut excess stabilizer all around the embroidery. Wash embroidery in warm water. Let dry and then iron (if necessary).
