I just looked at one of our JellyRoll's in stock. I see what you mean about the dowel which is in the inside. From what I can see it's sewn in there, so it would be hard to get out. So I'd recommend handwashing it, but leaving the dowel on the inside. Sorry for the inconvenience. Have a good day!
what are the overall dimensions, please? I assume the 20" Jelly Roll is 20" in the shorter (height) dimension. What is the length of the roll?
Yes the measurement is how wide the Jelly Roll is. They range in length but the 12" is about 24" long and the rest are 36" long.
I received my blue and yellow 20 inch E-Z Stitch Jelly Roll today. This is really lovely. The fabric is very pretty and soft. This is a well made item. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a fabulous product! Mine just arrived, and I love it! One question--how does one remove the dowel in order to wash before using (as mentioned above)? Or do you wash with the dowel inside?
