In a career spanning over 35 years as an illustrator, Scott Gustafson’s lush oil paintings have appeared on everything from calendars and book covers to collector’s plates, limited edition prints and movie posters. He is also very honored to see so many of his images charted as cross-stitch patterns for HAED since 2005! But it is probably the world of children’s books that his pictures are the most recognized. In a style that has been compared to artists of the Golden Age of Illustration, Gustafson’s work has illustrated titles like Classic Fairy Tales, Favorite Nursery Rhymes from Mother Goose, Classic Bedtime Storiesand his most recent title, Classic Storybook Fables– all published by Artisan.
