Dream Sleep Masks

Dream Sleep Masks
I used True Type fonts and Motif fills in StitchArtist  to make the red background lettering.  I used an included font from Essentials to do the yellow lettering.  I used the library and draw tools in StitchArtist to make the swirls and stars. The sleep mask border itself was from a stitch file by Starbird.

I really love these art, did you also used digitizing??

Hi Melissa,

Thanks for asking. I used Stitch Artist digitizing tools to bring in True Type fonts and add Motif fills to create the red background lettering. The next digitizing tools I used was the draw tools in StitchArtist to make the swirls.

If you are asking if I paid someone to do any of the digitizing for me, the closest I got to that, was to buy a pre-made stock design from Starbird and incorporate it for the shape of the mask.

Hello Kirsten,

What machine did you used for the digitizing work? Would you like to share a link with me for these pre-made stock design.

Thanks.

I used a Brother PE700 for the stitching.

Melissa,
I'm happy to answer your questions. For the digitizing, I used a windows computer; a pretty basic Windows 8 model, (so the True Type font I used was on my computer, and read by StitchArtist), but the Embrilliance StitchArtist software works on Mac as well, and unless I'm mistaken, it can read Mac fonts in a similar way. The pre-made stock designs I used for the masks are in this Sleep Mask pack: You can buy just one, or the whole pack. https://embroidery.com/product?productID=196392
