I made Elegant sister separate, then added it to a piece of material. I attached it with a blanket stitch, then followed the curves with monofilament thread. I winged it as I went along, but Elegant sister was my muse. Finished it measures 24x31 1/2. It hanges in my sewing room, so I keep that holiday feeling. Your projects are wonderful, have a great holiday

HI Dorothy- LOVE your wallhanging. Did you use all of the same stabilizers in the design before you attached it to the main piece of fabric? Was just wondering if the dense fleece could be omitted since it is getting more batting in the secondary piece! Just beautiful, Pam

Dorothy, this is GORGEOUS! Question...did you make The Elegant Sister and then sew it on, or did you actually build The Elegant Sister onto the fabric of the hanging? (I'm PJ and am fascinated and honored by your creation!)

Dorothy, I am still mesmerized by this piece....how did you fix the mini lights to this?

I also added a few extra lights. Used small o-rings in back and in front of lights to hold them in place. Some people have also used a glue gun.

Hi, Kathy! I'm PJ (Jackie), the designer of the project. There are eyelets digitized into the project through which you insert the mini-lights. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply, Dorothy, as well as your kind words (o; There is a song from an old Muppets' Christmas movie that included the words "Keep Christmas with you all through the year", and having this in your sewing room would certainly do that! Happy holidays to you, too!

It is 24 inches wide by 31 1/2 inches long. I have it in my sewing room so I can light it up feel Christmassy when I'm sewing:-)
