This was a fun one to do!  Instead of a wall hanging, I changed it up a little bit and made a big hot pad that will work great for bigger dishes.  Along with the cotton batting,  I added a layer of Insul-Bright and then decided to sew only a 3” border plus the flat piping.  Doing the QAYG method made it fast to finish.    I used fabric dye sticks (fabric paint) for the coloring which worked well.  And the back looks pretty, too!     So many potential ways to use this basic idea.  Thanks to Lindee Goodall for the great projects and inspirations!
