I am very new to machine embroidery (November) and purchased Stitch Artist 2 in mid December. I have designed our 2021 Christmas card with a little embroidered and appliquéd Santa Gnome.

I designed and purchased the background cards from a popular printing company. I stitch out my gnome that I drew myself (digitized), cut out the oval with card stock attached behind, and mount it on the background buffalo plaid with 3D foam stickies. The piece is then simply mounted on a white card. I know it is a very basic design but we all start somewhere!
