Will this fit my Bernina 700E embroidery only machine? And, also what other snap hoops fit my machine. I am interested in purchasing all of them.

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

Hi, Ursula. Thanks for the question. Yes, the Bernina 700E is compatible with the Snap Hoop Monster (several sizes), plus one size of Sticky Hoop. Here's a link to all the compatible hoops for that machine:

https://www.embroidery.com/EmbroideryMachine.ec?EMID=1110

Or just go to our home page and search for the Bernina 700E and then click on the machine.

If you have further questions, let us know. Otherwise, have a great day!

What is the sewing field on the snap hoop monster 10.5 x 16?

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

If you already have a 10.5" x 16" hoop, the sewing field will be the same as your existing hoop.

Hi, I was wondering if this will eventually etch my machine arm? With regular Bernini hoops they say to push the fabric out a little bit so the movement of the hoop does etch the arm plate

Kirsten S.

Hi Sandi,

Thank you for the question. These hoops have a suede backing on them to prevent etching.

Is this the largest magnetic hoop? I have a Bernina 770 QE

Hi Francine,

Thanks for reaching out to embroidery.com! The largest Snap Hoop Monster that we have compatible for the Bernina 770 QE, is the RM4 260 x 400mm. https://embroidery.com/product.ec?productID=268751... Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a good day!

Do you have anything that would work for hooping lower sleeves and cuffs? I have a Brother pe800.

Please Login to comment on this post.

Kirsten S.

Hi Janet,
For that, I suggest the Sticky Hoop https://embroidery.com/product.ec?productID=380395 and floating the sleeve: https://embroidery.com/floating-in-hoop.ec?efid=42...

You don't absolutely need a sticky hoop to float items; a sticky backing can be used with your regular hoop.

What’s the difference between the snap hoop and a monster snap hoop? I’m confused about these hoops. I have the brother se 1900 and I want the monster snap hoop but I only see a snap hoo

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

Hi, Linda. Everything that says "Snap Hoop" or "Snap Hoop Monster" is the Snap Hoop Monster. The original Snap Hoop was completely replaced with the Snap Hoop Monster, since it is a stronger product.

Your SE1900 is only compatible with one hoop at this time, the Snap Hoop Monster LM6, 5"x7" in size:

Hi does the snap monster hoop that's ok for my stellaire hoop isn't it. I live in Australia so how long does it take to get here in Rockhampton Queensland

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

Hi, Kath. I'm sorry but I don't understand the question. I think you may have made a typo. Could you please clarify?

As far as the international shipping timeframe, normal time is approximately 1-2 weeks, but be aware that items can sometimes take longer, sometimes up to 1-2 months.

Thank you very much. Contact information for DIME was very useful. I love your website and will cetainly order from Embroidery.com as I become more involved in machine embroidery for quilts. Please do check your own website because it still lists DIME Snap-Hoop Monsters compatible with Brother Dreammaker VE2200 and Brother Innovis Essence VE2300 (which is very similar to the VE2200 except for larger embroidery field, which is 8" x 12" on the VE2300). Is this new since your original reply in March? All this stuff changes so quickly! And there are so many different embroidery machines now.

Thanks again.

Hi, Frances. Great, I'm glad to hear that.

Yes, I double checked the most recent chart and it appears the compatibility to the Brother Dreammaker VE2200 and Brother Innovis Essence VE2300 are correct. That has most likely been changed since March. You are correct that this information changes very quickly!

I purchased the Dime 200 x 200 monster snap hoop for my Creative Sensation Pro 2. My machine doesn’t have the option for 200 x 200 metal hoop. It appears to have the most recent software. Can I not use it

Heather B.

Hi, Linda. We're sorry to hear of your trouble. Did you purchase the hoop model HM4? If so, it should work for your machine. I'd recommend contacting DIME for assistance. There may be some specific update needed. Their number is 888-739-0555.

If you have further questions we can help with, please let us know. Of course, if you end up needing to return the hoop, feel free to get back in touch with us.

Debra H.

I have read on Bernina FB page that the RM4 is the one to get for my 770QEE, I read today that the RM5 is the one to get as the entire hoop is usable space as with the 4 it is the same as the Bernina Jumbo hoop where even though we can use that hoop the entire area isn’t usable. is this correct

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

Hi, Debra. Snap Hoops have the same usable space as your machine's existing hoops. If you want the most available space, yes, the RM4 would be the one to buy. I hope this helps.

What snap hoop works with a Bernina 570QE? The machine is not listed.

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

Hi, Donna. We're very sorry but the Bernina 570QE is not compatible with the Snap Hoop Monster. However, if you meant to say Bernina 570QEE instead, it is compatible with the Snap Hoop Monster. If the latter that is the case, please follow this link to see compatible hoops:

I have a dreammaker XE VE2200, is that the same as the VE2300 and will the LM2 fit. thanks

Please Login to comment on this post.

Heather B.

I'm sorry, Jenny, but the Snap Hoop Monster is not recommended for the VE2200. It does look similiar to the VE2300, but the VE2200 is not listed one DIME's latest compatibility chart, which is pretty accurate. Sorry about that.

Brother now sells a V-Series Upgrade SAVRVUGK1 kit for the VE2200. It increases the embroidery field to 8"x12". Today your website @embroidery.com lists the DIME Snap-Hoop Monster LM5 (7"x12" SHOOA5M UPC:852622003712) as compatible with the Brother DreamMaker XE VE2200. Perhaps the DIME chart needs another update, as at least this one Snap-Hoop Monster is compatible. I suspect there are other sizes that are also compatible. Perhaps, with the V-Series upgrade to a Brother VE2200, even the 8" x8" and 8"x12" Snap-Hoop Monsters would work. And by the way, the DIME compatibility chart that is posted on many websites including this one, is illegible as posted. It desperately needs a strong zoom capability. It would also help if there were a date on the chart, as obviously there are several versions out there. Maybe there is a date but I can't find it in all those tiny figures.

I actually have a strong personal desire to have an answer on the compatibility of the 8"x12" and 8"x8" Snap-Hoop Monster frames for a Brother VE2200 with the upgrade listed above. If you can't find an answer, do you have any suggestions for where else I could look? Does DIME have a customer service contact? Maybe Google (or I) was having a bad day, but I couldn't find a website for them. The Brother upgrade kit includes Brother frames in those sizes, but the Snap-Hoop Monsters are much easier on arthritic hands and hold quilt layers better, according to my sister. She says they are definitely worth the money.

Thank you for your time and attention.
