Like all DIME software, Perfect Stitch Viewer is housed inside Embroidery Tool Shed. Once you've installed Embroidery Tool Shed (ETS), you will activate Perfect Stitch Viewer (PSV). Follow these steps for success.
1. Download and install the Embroidery Tool Shed (ETS) with the link that was provided to you in your email or by clicking here.
2. Once ETS is installed on your computer open it by double-clicking on the ETS icon on your desktop. The icon looks like this.
3. The registration screen will appear. Click on the down arrow and select Perfect Stitch Viewer.
4. Type in all of your information, except the activation code.
5. Click on Register Now. Once you fill in all of the information Register Now will become active. Clicking Register Now will automatically populate the activation code and register the software.
6. Once Perfect Stitch Viewer is registered you will exit Embroidery Tool Shed and open a folder on your hard drive where your embroidery files are located. Make sure the windows preferences are set to large icons and your embroidery files will now show as thumbnails.
I am new to longarm quilting. I have a Pheonix frame, Ansley machine, Quilt Robotic and Perfect Stitch. We downloaded a update to Quilt EZ and my Chrome is asked for the Display Serial Number. Where do we find that information? Do we need to also update the Perfect Stitch? Is there anyone that could assist us? TYVM Lisa
Thanks for reaching out with your question. If you ordered from Embroidery.com and can send us an order number to the email address below then we may be able to help. Otherwise, it would probably be best to reach out to DIME's software support for help. You can reach them at 1-855-663-3353. Thanks!
I already have Embroidery Tool Shed on my computer along with Block Piecer. Will I have to re-down load Tool Shed in order to purchase Perfect stitch Viewer?
Thank you for reaching out with your question. You shouldn't have to download Tool Shed again. Instead, you will just insert your serial number. If you have any trouble finding out how to do this, please call DIME's software support at 1-855-663-3353. Have a great week!
I purchased and installed Perfect Stitch Viewer, but had some difficulties in the registration process. Now I click on the embroidery tool shed icon, and the Perfect Stitch Viewer icon shows "activated". but I am not seeing thumbnail images when I scroll through my files. I do have the large icons selected in windows explorer view. Not sure what to do.
Hi Janice, I just spoke with you over the phone. For the interest of anyone reading the forum, the solution we came up with was to choose "Large Icons" from the explorer view menu. Allthough you had done this, somehow windows had switched back to "Detail View"
Hi Sharon, Join us twice a month on Tuesdays at noon for Software Success, an hour long online drop-in class about using various Dime Inspiration software programs. https://embroidery.com/machine-embroidery-events?p... There hasn't been one focused Perfect Stitch Viewer yet, but I'm sure there will be. There was a good one on using Embroidery Tool Shed that also mentioned adding Perfect Stitch Viewer, if you're interested in that: https://www.embroidery.com/event?eventID=2179&even...
