Dinner Time! Baby Bibs

Dinner Time! Baby Bibs

Mommy knows best, and she knows that a baby at the table is sugar, spice and everything nice, yet the little human food landing strip must be handled with care. That little cutie pie wipes food here, there, and everywhere, which means sticky fingers ahead. Embellished with designs from the "Cute Baby Phrases" design pack by Starbird, these bibs are functional, and cute as a button, too!

 1:

Use a printed production sheet cut out to mark exact placement, or simply mark the center of the bib for embroidery and measure to make sure the embroidery design will fit the area.

 2:

Hoop a terry cloth bib with a tearaway - washaway stabilizer beneath it. Alternately, if the bib is too small to be hooped comfortably, use an adhesive stabilizer or spray and go over the hoop.

 3:

Because terry cloth can swallow up embroidery stitches and because the spaces in letters can make difficult removal of permanent topper, it is preferable to use a water-soluble topping over the terry cloth.

 4:

Embroider the design right through the soluble topping. When finished, tear away excess stabilizer and topping. A little water will dissolve any remaining topping, and washing the bib will soften any remaining stabilizer.
